Are you ready for a thrill ride and adventure?
Eddie's story, simply put is amazing! There is so much in store, even for his hard core fans who may think they know his story.
Eddie Fiola's rise to one of the biggest names in BMX Freestyle and one of the greatest riders in the world with his undisputed title of "King of the Skateparks" did not come without challenges, hardships, and obstacles. Come along and follow the young Eddie as a 14 year old kid with no money for the pro bike and parts who rode for miles to dig in the trash can at SE Bicycle shop. Trying to piece together a pro bike to even the playing field and earn his way into his first magazine. Only to get that chance on the one day he didn't have his bike at Lakewood Skatepark. No problem for Eddie, he just would make the most of the opportunity by running home 5 miles to get his bike to ride back the same 5 miles in hopes photographer Bob Osborn would still be at the skatepark.
Eddie Fiola would become the biggest name in BMX Freestyle in no time. With his new found stardom, Eddie would be asked to share his story for a BMX movie that would be based loosely off of Eddie's life. He would get to ride in the movie as himself, but more importantly do most of the stunt work for the main character, Cru, as well as stunts for Luke and Christian in the film RAD.
When BMX went out of favor, Eddie would lose his sponsorships, even his main sponsor GT. Fiola had to reinvent himself, so he started at the bottom and interned for years as a Hollywood stunt guy. You will love Eddie's stories from some of the massive budget Hollywood blockbusters that he has worked on. From The Hangover, to Indiana Jones, The Italian Job, and so much more!
